1st Story : Corinne Landeene came to us with a special request. Instead of the typical Rounded Corners option, she was looking to cut one corner with a straight edge.
We thought a ??die cut?? after printing could achieve this. However the whole die cutting process increases labor and product costs because a custom blade is required.
Not to mention 0.19?? (5mm) of space is needed all over from the edge of the document. So while it could be done, we found that it wasn't very economical for just one corner to be cut this way.

This got us thinking! The problem seemed so simple but what was the solution?
We needed a solution that was not time-consuming / increased the cost.
Then it hit us! Our round corner machine, there had to be a way to slip a straight blade on the machine that would give us the cut we were looking for.
We contacted the supplying company of the machine and asked if there were other straight blades that we could interchange in the machine. Low and behold we received a solution the problem!
A new blade for our existing rounded corner machine was the perfect solution.
It was quick and simple and kept production costs low. A special thanks to Corinne for her patience and this opportunity to try and find a more cost effective solution.
Our round corner machine has a 2mm~3mm, and 5mm radius flexibility .
The standard round corner cut is 2mm~3mm. The below sample shapes are possible.
Please be sure to make a note if you want only 1 / 2 corners rounded or if you want a 5mm rounded corner / something other than our standard 2~3mm rounded corner.
