Q : Briefly tell us about your company, it??s history and what kind of services do you offer? |

A
: I'm a freelance graphic artist from New Brunswick, Canada. My work ranges from designing logos to t-shirts to CD artwork for bands. |

Q : Where did the name Mandingo come from? |
|
|
|
|
A
: It was a nickname given to me in college by a friend and fellow design student. I thought it was cool and adopted it as my nom de plume as my freelance work grew. It wasn't until much later that I found out it was the name of the people from Sierra Leone (among other things). Needless to say it was a perfect example of how important it is to research before you commit to a biz name. |

Q : Your design inspires us, what inspires you? |

A
: My friends-both on- and off-line. They are people who are passionate about their interests, be it music or art. Enthusiasm is contagious and surrounding yourself with the right kind of people is a great motivator. |

: MorningPrint offers a wide variety of stocks and finishings why did you select the black stock with the silver foil? |
|
|
|
|
A
: I wanted something that communicated who I am without getting into the usual trappings of buzzwords and posturing. It really pops. There aren't a lot of business cards that can make people stop in their tracks. |

: Your design is concise yet effective, how did you decide what information would go on the card and how you would lay it out? |
|
|
|
|
A
: That's a good question. I've designed so many stationery packages and corporate identities that I didn't really think about it, to be honest. I think, subconsciously, the key to a good business card is something clean and direct without a lot of fluff. Some businesses get into the habit of trying to jam so much information into their branding that the message gets lost in a sea of tag lines, QR codes, and social media icons. You don't need to tell your entire story on a 3.5 x 2 inch card. |

: Any tips for our clients to consider when they are creating their business cards? |
|
|
|
|
A
: Keep it simple and clean. White space is not your enemy, and you don't need to resort to stock photos with cheap effects to make something beautiful and engaging. Choosing the right card stock and finishing can make all the difference. |

Q
: Did you experience any difficulties when using MorningPrint.com, or find anything to be inconvenient or inefficient? |
|
|
|
|
A
: Not really. For the most part the process was pretty direct. I've used other services where the process was so convoluted that I stopped midway and began looking for alternatives. That was when I found reviews for MorningPrint, so I thought I would give it a shot. |

Black stock does not allow for any ink to be printed, we do not have any white raised ink or white foiling options as there is no white ink in CMYK offset printing. The only options we have are:
- Black raised ink (front / front & back)
- Foiling single color (front / front & back) - unlike our other stocks there is no foiling size limitation however we recommend avoind large blocks of foiling as cracking or peeling could occur.
these options cannot be mixed and matched, we can only process one or the other.
Embossing is available however it has some size limitations, we recommend that embossing does not exceed 40mm x 20mm (1.57?? x 0.79??), if embossing area is larger it is subject to an additional oversize charge that will be requested after initial order is placed. If it is too large it may not be possible
