Q : Briefly tell us about your company, it??s history and what kind of services do you offer? |

: I have worked in freelance graphic design for over 6 years. Nearing the year-end of 2012 I dedicated my complete time, knowledge, hard work and whole heart into establishing my first design company, Jolly Graphic Design, which officially launched the first day of 2013. My philosophies for my practice are simple. Like a beautiful woman, unless your design fills a purpose, a direction or a path of expansion, it will never be more then a pretty face. The true beauty of design is that you can carry a concept with it. Thus furthering human growth, purpose and happiness. Personally I specialize in website reconstruction, Wordpress customization and development, branding and everything Photoshop. Lastly, incase it isn??t obvious?? I love what I do! |

Q : Your design inspires us, what inspires you? |

A
: Thank you, I am greatly inspired by ALL kinds of design, the more textile the better, and I love research and reading. On the weekends I window shop interior design stores, I??m drawn to the fabrics, color palettes and architecture. By using textile design as a model I am challenged to find new concepts of how to bring that kind of life and dimension to digital/web projects. Also I'm a firm believer in education, therefore, I regularly make the time to read. Books, blogs, articles, new knowledge always gives me perspective, inspiration and keeps me on my toes! |

Q : You added blind embossing to your design, what lead you to select this option? |

A
: The embossed stamp is a part of the branding for Jolly Graphic Design; however, in digital design we use color in order to "trick" the eye into feeling dimension and texture. So it was really fun to physically see the Jolly GD stamp embossed, giving it an imprint you can run your fingers over, no tricks! |

: Your business card and overall branding has an official look to it with the seal like embossing and form like design, how did you come up with this? |

A
: In life and in work Jolly Graphic Design follows a few simple core values; Integrity, Vision, Standard and Civility. When branding Jolly GD it was important to ??visually?? hold up these values. Part of the inspiration to achieve this actually came from a fire extinguisher tag. It holds the image and reputation of quality, trust and establishment. So a bit of this look made it into final development. |

: Any tips for our clients to consider when they are creating their business cards? |
|
|
|
|
A
: Never take your eye of the ball of "purpose" in design. Is the purpose of your business card informational, company branding, promotional, etc? If a card looks great but doesn't get the job done, then you have not only wasted your time and money but you are going to loose the attention of your clients and possibly their future business as well. Think of your designer like a symphony conductor; flick of the wrist, swell of the strings, all part of the mesmerizing show that guides your audience with the greatest of ease and enjoyment to your ??purpose??. |

: This is your first order with MorningPrint, how did you find us and what drove your decision to print with us? What is most important to you when selecting a print company? |

: I was looking for a printing company that could deliver premium textured paper, embossed finishing and color accuracy. (Being that one of our branding colors is red, which can be such a finicky color from screen-to-print. Color accuracy is the difference between a gorgeous rust-red or bloody-steak red... and no one wants to see that) I am pleased to say Morning Prints nailed it! |
